"Falmarin"
Kishou's words comforted her more than he could know, but the pains kept getting stronger and more frequent. Eventually, she could barely manage to swim, and without Kishou and Kena at her side she'd not be moving. Spotting Ilkena's foals made her heart race with excitement, knowing they were Kaane's just by the look of them. "I never knew... I was an aunty..." She said between breaths, grinning through the pain. "We have so much to catch on..." As they reached the den, Fall tried as best she could to make herself comfortable as her mind turned now only to her foal. A sharp pain gripped her stomach, along with movement which gained a small whimper. "Kishou... I think it's coming!" Looking up at her love she felt suddenly quite anxious for both herself and the foal.

"Kishou/Eva"
The shadow stallion sat beside her worriedly, not knowing what to do. His excitement grew as he heard the words "It's coming!" and bent over his love, wishing he had a hand for her to squeeze. "What can I do?" He asked, hoping someone else would know.
Unknownst to Kishou, Eva was on her way back to the herdgrounds at full speed. She burst through the boundary with great presence, nearly rushing over some of the new faces. She stopped abruptly in the center of the meeting grounds, her large wings helping her halt, looking everyone over. The island mare looked from the commontion in the den back to the newcomers, and immediately took action. "Alrighty people! You're new, so I'll give you a bit of the low-down. Kishou's the leader here, and I'm his sister, so while he's busy, I guess I'll take care of things. My name's Eva, and it's in your best interest not to mess with me! Alright then, if everyone could introduce themselves, I can tell Kishou later, when his foal isn't being born. Thanks! Form a line or something...one at a time!" Eva's surface experience had certainly changed her, not even thinking these water-dwellers would be in the slightest confused to what she was talking about. "We don't have all day now!"
From: bbb026 2/23/07
"Pathenon"
A bit startled by Eva's harsh reaction, Pathenon made his way carefully toward her, not wanting to set her off in any way, seeing as her warning came on pretty strong. Hesitantly, he introduced himself. "My name's Pathenon. I've been traveling for a long time and I finally decided it might be time to settle for a while. I'm sorry for my bad timing, with your new addition comming, so I'll have no problem staying out of the way until everything's back to regular order." Peeking over Eva, Pathenon could see just enough into the den and saw that the time had come for the new foal to makes its way into this new world.

"Eva"
Eva eyed the stallion, then broke into a large grin. "HellOOOOOo Handsome!" She exclaimed, swimming around him quite interestedly. It wasn't long before she'd be all over any stallion there, but for now, Pathenon had her attention. "I'm Eva, though I think I already said that. Pathenon huh? That's a cute name. Fits a cute stallion! No worries about Kishou and Fall right now, just leave them to themselves and I'll keep you QUITE entertained.." She suggested seductively. It was quite like Eva to throw herself at any stallion she thought fit - if only to have a bit of fun with them before breaking their heart. She and her best friend Breephin used to make a game out of it, who could destroy the most men in a week. However, Eva had hung up her heart breaking towel, and now preferred to play around a bit.
From: bbb026 2/25/07
"Pathenon"
Though Pathenon was a bit surprised by Eva's change of tone, he had to admit that he was flattered by the mare's compliments. "Thank you for this...warm welcome. Entertained huh?" he said with a hint of confusion in his voice. This should be interesting, he thought to himself.

"Ilkena"
The mare smiled lightly, "Kishou, looks like your the brother-in-law I never knew." turning lavender orbs to Fall, she rested crainu on her side, "... easy Falmarin..." The small pink filly flew to Fall as fast as possible. Bright eyes lit up through all of this excitement. Ilkena's young boy rested peacefully outside, wanting nothing to do with the birth of a child. Delphina, her daughter, whickered lightly nosing Fall, "Yay Aunty Fall!!! Baby be littler than meee! Me big girl!" she shouted, floating back to Kena.

" Falmarin "
With her eyes shut tight she let her head drop to rest on Kishou's knee. She wasn't sure at first if there was anything he could do, but for now, him just being here was enough. "Just... stay with me."
Looking back to Kena for a moment, she tried her best to stay as calm as she could. With her best friend by her side she knew she'd be ok. Managing a smile, Fall looked at the filly. "You'll have to help me look after it..." she said before again resting her head on Kishou's leg as the worst pain yet hit her. With all she could give she pushed, and at first it seemed nothing was happening. The minutes felt like hours and she began to hope that it would all be over soon. With another pain she gave one last big push...
The sound of a small whinny caught her attention as the pain began to ease. A wide smile lit her face. Though thoroughly tired, Fall lifted her head and turned to see her foal for the first time. The small black and white foal lay shakily on the floor of the den. Leaning over to her small child she licked at its tiny black head. "Kishou," she said wrapping her tail around the foal before looking up to her love with an emotional smile, "we have a daughter."
From: Goth_Shadows__ 3/02/07
"Li"
The water seemed colder to her than before, though it did not make too much sense. The Egyptian female looked about curiously, her blue eyes curious. Brown-bodied with yellow markings, she swam excitedly.
Something about this new area made her anticipate something good that could happen. What it was, she knew not. Her black mane swam behind her as she grew in speed.
Her eyes twinkled and she was sure that for once, her life was going to be whole again.

"Kishou/Eva"
Kishou gripped onto Fall's side, watching the process in disturbance. As the foal emerged, his stomach churned. No wonder he had never been present when Elin had given birth.
As Fall spoke, he found himself dizzier and dizzier. When the final word was spoken, he was unconcious on the den floor. Only a glipse of his daughter floated in his mind - what a beautiful, beautiful sight.
Eva peeked into the den, after swimming from Pathenon a bit. She rapped her hoof on the cave wall, letting the inhabitants know of her presence before entering cautiously. The sight was amusing to her - Fall, a mare she didn't know, a brand new foal, and her big brother passed out beside Fall's head. She carefully proceeded to Fall, smiling at the babe. "Well well! Looks like I'm an auntie again!" She exclaimed silently, keeping her distance from the new mother and babe. She didn't know Fall that well - and some mothers were quite protective. With a flick of her tail, she smacked Kishou in the head, forcing him to regain conciousness.
Kishou rose, a bit bruised from his fall to the floor. He stared at Fall embarrassed, then his attention turned to the babe. "What should we name her?" He asked.

"Thrien/Etalshi"
The violet stallion swam close to the bottom of the ocean, wreathed in darkness, not that he noticed it much. His focus was drawn inwards, considering his own heart wrenching pain. With a sigh, he clenched his pale blue eyes shut against the world. He shook his head; the pendent that usually hovered on his forehead bumped him in the temple and brought him back to himself. He opened his eyes again and looked around. He knew not where he was, or how he'd gotten there. Opening the silver/white wings upon his back, he used them to push up slightly from the darkness and propel himself along.
"Brother." The word was softer then a whisper. He halted and swivelled his body around to look back. With a bow of his head, he silently greeted the black and crimson mare that rose from the darkness further below him. She tilted her head and half-smiled at him. She swam towards him, twining her neck with his in an affection greeting. "Follow." She whispered in his ear and suddenly let go, shooting off through the water. Without much thought, he followed.
She lead him though the darkness and up. Within a short time, she slowed and halted, floating silently until he caught up. "There are others here." She didn't turn to him, but stared off into the distance with a look of longing that surprised the stallion. She glanced at him, a question in her crimson gaze. She waited, and was rewarded with the single bow of his head. She took off again, with him following close behind, wondering who and what they'd find there.

"Pathenon/Daiveni"
While Eva was inside the den, Pathenon turned to see a small figure slowly swimming towards him. Daiveni? Could it be? he thought to himself. He swam closer towards the mare to find that he was right...it was Daiveni. "Pathenon!" she yelled, happy to see a familiar face. "What are you doing here?" he asked the mare. "I came here to find you. I've been trying to re-unite our herd, but without Caetus, it seems impossible. I was hoping you could help me find him." she answered. "I'm sorry, but he won't listen to anyone, not even me. I've tried, but I think it's best to just leave him be for now. He'll come around eventually." he told the mare. "Anyway, since you're here, you might as well stay for a bit. I've found a new herd." "But...what about ours?" Daiveni asked sadly. "This isn't permanent. I left to discover more about the world, meet new people. And this is the way to do it. Stay with me, at least for a while. I promise we'll go back to our herd some day." "Alright," she nodded. "So where is everyone?"

"Lakitano"
Lakitano had been lurking about the old, familiar territory of PotN nearly all day, soaking up the memories, some good, some bad, that lingered still. He drifted with a sigh and wished fervently... Suddenly he caught sight of two new faces. Pathenon and Daiveni. He'd never seen them around before. Slowly, a curious glint in his eye, he approached them with a small, "Hey," and welcome smile.
From: bbb026
"Pathenon/Daiveni"
Daiveni eyed the stallion curiously and Pathenon returned the smile. Suddenly, Daiveni burst into a smile, like she always did. "Hi!" she replied enthusiastically.

"Lakitano"
Lakitano tossed his head in greeting, sending locks of yellow mane flooding into his face. "I don't think I've seen you around here before," he said. "I'm Lakitano. Are you new to Peophins of the Night?" His bright green orbs stared at them both, a curious light emanating from the green iris.

"Augania"
Swish. Left, right. A simple tail flicked silently through the deep waters, membrane catching and releasing the currents with ease. His dark coat and dark soul melded into the dark waters, yet his brilliant gold eyes lit his way. A fierce, yet handsome, darigan peophin had approached the edge of the herdlands. He let his tail drag behind him, his long mane floating out behind him. It attached to his body nearly until his dorsal fin, which was also mane of long hairs and seemingly useless. He stepped confidentally ahead, his feathered feet shaking the sandy floor with each step. The currents pulled his forelock from his eyes, and a flame-shaped blaze appeared between the golden orbs. He continued forward, now in sight of the others. His eyes were fixed upon an electric peophin stallion. His stature did not change, the creature was confident and nearly menacing or threatening. However, he had no quarrel with this particular group of peophins - no matter what harsh words may escape his chords.

"Daiveni/Pathenon"
"Yes, I'm realtively new," Pathenon replied. "And I just got here, looking for him," Daiveni interrupted and tossed her head in Pathenon's direction, a hint of annoyance in her voice. Her expression changed yet again. There was something about the stallion's eyes that intrigued Daiveni...something she couldn't place...
From: Dismissive 3/04/07
"" Etalshi//Thrien "
The mare slowed to a halt again, drifting in the current. She lifted her head and looked around, spotting those in the distance. She eyed the Peophins ahead of her warily and felt a moment's indecision. With a toss of her head, she lifted her chin defiantly to her thoughts and emotions and continued forward towards the herd.
The stallion lowered his head, his mane drifting down to cover his face. He sighed deeply and forced his head up again, his gaze roaming from his sister to the herd ahead of them. He, too, felt wary, for who knew how a herd would react to two strangers in their midst? He sped up to follow closely behind his sister, ready to protect her if needed. He hoped not, but he'd stopped hoping for anything anymore.
From: noel1326 3/05/07
"Lakitano"
Lakitano nodded, once again sending his unruly mane into his eyes. He flicked if back in place with a toss of his head that conveyed annoyance. As he did so, he caught sight of the nearing figure off to his right. Aug. The stranger's sudden presence sent a slight uneasiness through him but Lakitano quickly pushed it aside. "Where are you two from?" he inquired, turning his attention back to Pathenon and Daiveni. Every now and then his emerald colored orbs flicked back to Aug, watching the new stallion warily.
From: MysticalHorsesGuild 3/05/07
"Augania"
The deep purple stallion continued to approach with forceful speed. His destination was the electric stallion, the only one that had a sense of belonging in this place. Within a short period, he was face-to-face with the stallion, his massive bulk hovering heavily over the ocean floor. His wild mane floated above him, as his hair-like dorsal fin swayed with the gentle currents of the Peophins of the Night herdgrounds. His golden stare met Lakitano's, fierce yet not challenging. "Who's in charge here?" He grunted huskily, his voice low and grumbly. His gaze travelled to the two the blue stallion was speaking to, giving them a look of how much obviously more important he was than they. His gaze changed slightly as it fell over the mare, his gaze taking on a chauvenistic look of lust. He discreetly winked at her, before diverting his attention back to the stallion he awaited an answer from.
From: bbb026 3/05/07
"Pathenon/Daiveni"
Before Pathenon could answer Lakitano's question, his gaze fell upon a purple Peophin comming at them with a fierce look in his eyes. After asking Lakitano a question, the stranger looked in his direction. His eyes made Pathenon uneasy and the look that was given toward him didn't help much either. The Peophin's gaze shifted to Daiveni. She was a bit shocked when the stallion winked at her and gave her a look of lust. She found herself blushing a little, and then quickly tried to hide it. Pathenon was just as shocked. Judging by this first impression, he didn't want Daiveni getting involved with a Peophin like that. Pathenon looked upon Daiveni as a younger sister and couldn't help but be a bit protective.
From: noel1326 3/05/07
"Lakitano"
Lakitano faced the stallion, staring at him in what he hoped was an unwavering expression. A memory flashed through his mind but he shoved that from his thoughts as well as the feeling of uneasiness that had passed through him before. Cooly, he responded, "Kishou is in charge here. He is the leader of this herd, Peophins of the Night." Locks of yellow mane splayed across the water as he nodded in the direction of Kishou's den, adding, "He's over there." Lakitano doubted very seriously that Kishou would be pleased with any interruption right now, however, especially considering the circumstance.
From: MysticalHorsesGuild 3/05/07
"Augania"
Aug hovered still in forlornment. He had been certain the blue peophin before him was the leader.."Who are you then?" He asked, bewildered. He looked in the direction of the supposed leader, but made no effort to move. Though his bulk remained, the menacing aura about him had faded slightly in his confusement. His gaze then flicked back to the mare he had winked at. "And who are you, beautiful?" Fortunately for Aug, he decided not to go seeking this "Kishou" for now. From the stallion's tone, he detected now wouldn't be quite the right time to bother him. He'd stay here and make small talk - as best he could - until everything had settled down. "My name is Augania..though I go by Aug. I'm looking for somewhere to stay."

"Pathenon/Daiveni"
Once again, Aug shocked both Daiveni and Pathenon. And Pathenon wasn't exactly thrilled that he was being completely ignored by this Aug character. "My name is Daiveni," she replied, blushing even more than before. "And this is Pathenon," she added tilting her head over to Pathenon, who looked just a little disgusted by this whole situation. If only Daiveni had just stayed home, this would've been so much easier for me, he thought.

" Falmarin "
Fall watched with an expression of shock at first as Kishou fainted, though a smile soon returned, followed by a laugh, half expecting such a reaction. Shaking her head she turned to Eva as she entered the den. Remembering Kishou's sister from a while back, Fall was pleased that she had come. "That you are," she said with a grin. "It's good to see you again Eva."
As Kishou was knocked back in to consciousness, Fall looked down at the confused young foal. "I'm not sure," she replied, "but I've been thinking about it... and I think you should be the one to name her." Fall looked up at Kishou with a content smile. In all honesty, she hadn't got a clue what to call her. All the names she could think of somehow didn't seem to suit her now she was here. Instead, she'd give that honour to Kishou, hoping his naming skills would be better than hers.
From: tripleaoni 3/05/07
" Ilkena "
The ghostly mare nickered lightly, the whinny soon echoed by Delphina. Her son slowly made his way back to her side as the tension subsided and he heard Kishou hit the ground.
"That's why I didn't stay here." the green, gruff colt cooed as he eyed Kishou.
Ilkena nuzzled Fall lightly then averted lavender orbs to the new foal. "If you think having one is bad... try two in one sitting." she chuckled, pulling muzzle towards the wobeley foal. She couldn't help but smile. "A foal really is the most beautiful sight to a mothers eyes. Ahhh I wish Kaane was around now."
The pink filly SQUEALED as she caught sight of the new baby. Incredibly intoxicated with the fact she was bigger, she tried darting to it, yet was halted by her mother who grabbed a hold of her mane.
From: MysticalHorseGuild 3/05/07
"Kishou/Eva"
Eva nodded to Fall in a pleasant response. She edged out of the way as Kishou leapt back up, finding herself more useful by Ilkena and the two foals. She remained silent, but her watchful eyes remained on the three foals. She had immediately assumed the role of "babysitter," no matter that both the mothers of the foals were here.
Kishou grimaced. "I don't know..Elin named our three." He looked wistfully at his daughter, touching her soft, velvety nose with his own. "All my daughters have been so beautiful.." He retrieved his head from his foal, looking back to Fall.

"Etalishi/Thrien"
As she drew nearer the herd, her excitement grew. She hadn't been around any of her own kind. Except for her brother, for a long time and was eager to try and make a new friend. She stopped again. She looked around, lifted her head and took a deep breath. "Hello?" She cried out, wondering if any would answer her call. She moved forward again towards the herd, more slowly this time.
Thrien's gaze roamed the area around them slowly. At Etalshi's call, he startled and swam up beside her silently. He glanced at her and followed closely.
From: noel1326 3/06/07
"Lakitano"
“I’m Lakitano,” put in the blue stallion. His green eyes looked the stranger over, still undecided as to whether this new-comer was a threat or not. “I am simply a member of this herd,” he added. “It is my home.” Home. The word sent a strange wave of feeling through his body and right down to the tip of his lightning patterned tail. Truly, this had been the only place he had ever been able to call home.
From: noel1326 3/06/07
"Neralyn"
Hunter green flashed through the waters, equine shaped. Slender and delicate in form, the figure wove its way sinuously through the currents. A wave of creamy white cascaded gently from the crest of her neck and similar colored tribal markings danced across her back and along the length her tail. Twin optics of crystalline sky blue blithely radiated her personality. As she sliced the water with her slim figure, she thought quietly to herself of this place she had once dwelled in. “I wonder if they will remember me,” her teenage voice echoed inside her head. She had been but a foal when she had first come here with her older sister. They had left, however, for reasons her older sister had not told her. Neralyn hadn’t seen her since a few days after that sad departure years ago. The only time she had come back was for a brief visit to Peophin Song, where she had met Eva and Breephin. “I wonder how they are doing?” she pondered aloud this time. As she neared the herd lands, she caught sight of the faces, some familiar, some new. Suddenly, she heard an unfamiliar voice echoing off to her right, “Hello.” She turned, mane drifting with her movement. Her blue orbs lighted up happily as she spotted Thrien and Etalshi, two peophins she did not remember from either of the old herds. “Hello!” she called back cheerfully and swam over to meet them.
From: dismissive 3/06/07
"Etalshi/Thrien"
The smile fell from Etalshi's face when it seemed like no one would answer. She turned to Thrien and shrugged slightly, trying not to show her disappointment. At the returned greeting, they both spun around, startled to see the mare approaching them. "Hello." Etalshi called out again immediately. "My name's Etalshi, and this is my brother Thrien." She paused, before asking a bit meekly. "Can you possibly tell us.. where we are? We've been travelling for some time, and I'm afraid we've become rather lost."
Thrien bowed to the mare as his sister spoke his name, bringing a smile to his face. "Greetings." His pale blue gaze darted from his sister and back to her again.
From: noel1326 3/07/07
"Neralyn"
Neralyn's smile brightened. "I'm Neralyn. Nice to meet you both, Thrien, Etalshi," she said, eyes sparkling happily... especially when she looked Thrien over. "Oh, nice," she thought to herself and added out loud, "Sure! This is the Peophins of the Night. I used to live here a while back but I'm just now returning." Beaming at the two in a welcome grin, she suggested, "If you are looking for a place to rest during your travels, this is nice spot."
From: dismissive 3/07/07
"Etalshi/Thrien"
Tal looked thoughtful as the mare spoke. "Yes, it would be nice to stop and rest for a time.." Her voice trailed off into silence.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Neralyn." Thrien spoke softly with a smile. At her offer of rest, his ears perked and his smile widened to a grin. "That would be most welcome. In fact, I'm not even sure of where we travel to." He frowned slightly, narrowing his pale eyes in thought. "I guess I just needed to get away for a time." His eyes filled his dispair as he spoke. He caught himself and shook his head, which caused the pendent above his brow to fly about also, before settling against his forehead again. His gaze went back to Neralyn again and he smiled slightly again.
From: noel1326 3/07/07
"Neralyn"
Neralyn nodded strands of soft mane into her face. She understood how tiring it was to just wander aimlessly, not knowing where you were going or sometimes even why. A wave of empathy rose within her chest. She thought she had detected something in Thrien's eyes and Etalshi's voice but couldn't be sure. So she answered, "Alrighty then! Come and I'll help you find a den to stay in. Then I'll introduce you to the leader of the herd, Crypt, if he's still around that is." She hadn't been around since Peophin Song and had not learned of the former leader's sad fate. Her hunter green body swirled lightly as she turned to lead them further into Peophins of the Night. A glance over her shoulder let her soak in Thrien's good looks once again. "That's a hot one right there, no mistake," the thought was accompanied by a small girlish giggle. "So where are you guys from?" she inquired.

"Neralyn"
Blissfully unaware of his frown, Neralyn swam along beside Thrien, slowly and inconspicuously drawing closer to him until there was but a mere two or three inches separating them. She looked over her shoulder at Etalshi and smiled, not wanting the mare to feel excluded. Turning her attention back to Thrien, it was Neralyn’s turn to frown. "Who could have a problem with you?" she asked in slight shock and with an emphasis on you. Her blue eyes sparkled with curiosity as she watched him intently.
bbb026 3/12/07
"Pathenon"
Pathenon turned his gaze to a gruop of new comers. Wow, even more, he thought. It seemed like everyone was looking for a new home these days. He felt a sudden pang of homesickness, missing his old herd and almost regretting ever leaving. Plus, he was missing all the excitment of Selea's precnancy. But he was sure to be there for the birth, he garunteed it.
From: dismissive 3/13/07
"Thrien"
Thrien looked away and closed his eyes. He was silent for a time before taking a deep breath and sighing it out slowly. "Where to begin?" He asked himself softly, before turning his gaze back to Neralyn's. "I met a mare, long ago, and as it happens, we fell in love. But, one day, she just left. I do not know where she went; all I know is that she left without a word. After a little while, she came back again and I thought everything would be right again." He sighed again. "But she left again, and this time she was gone for months. I searched for her constantly, but I never found her. And then, as suddenly as she disappeared, she came back to me. But she'd changed so much. We never talked, and it was like she avoided me whenever I tried to be with her. And so, I realised something. I couldn't go on like that. The hurt I felt was too great and I just didn't know what I felt for her anymore. And when I told her, she declared that she still loved me, but disappeared once again. I haven't heard from her since." He frowned. "It sounds ridiculous to leave someone over that. But.." He trailed off slowly and shook his head.
From: noel1326 3/14/07
"Neralyn"
A small frown tugged Neralyn’s mouth at the mention of this other mare. The oh so common wave of jealousy that washed through her every time she learned of a stallion’s (especially a handsome one’s) thoughts towards another mare surged through her now. Still, sympathy emanated from her blue optics. "I… I’m sorry," she said simply, eyes still on him, drinking in his appearance. "But I don’t think it’s ridiculous to leave someone over that," she added, "You were absolutely right. It would’ve only hurt you again and worse another time around." Her voice was laced with an emotion she could not quite place, as thoughts of her own encounters came swarming back into her head. She thought of the sister she supposedly had when she was foal. The memories we faint but still there. What was clear was that this sister was all she had had to protect her… and then she was no more… leaving Neralyn abandoned and alone with the memories of a shattered herd. In her desperation, she had tried to fight her way back to that herd, Peophins of the Night. The struggle had lasted her entire foal hood. When she had finally found the traces of the herd, she was no longer a filly, but a mare. Unable to recall either the face or name of that sister, Neralyn snorted in frustration.

Icy blue eyes stared forward, shimmering with joy and curiousity. Looking around, the black maned equine searched gleefully for the thing her heart so desired. Something dragged her here and she wondered if it was here... Li looked on curiously, her brown body, yellow marked, swam on effortlessly.

"Thrien"
Thrien turned his gaze back to her. "You've no need to be sorry, but I appreciate it." A small smile tugged at the edges of his lips. He looked away from her to survey the area around him. "But I shouldn't let my problems burden our talk. Tell me about yourself?" He asked hesitantly.

"Augania"
Aug's attention was caught by the other newcomers, though he did not move from his place. He watched them intently, wondering if one of them was this "Kishou" Lakitano had spoken of. Two of them looked like mares, so they couldn't be him...Aug's face twisted slightly at the sight of the faerie stallion. From what he had heard of this herd, they were faerie haters..could the lead stallion be such a hypocrite to be faerie himself?
He remained silent, not having much to say. When the mares approached close enough, he would greet them as politely as he could, yet to some peophin's measures it was still quite crude. His ears flicked to another movement, another approach of another creature to the herd. Apparently he wasn't the only newcomer today.

"Neralyn"
Neralyn gazed back at him, her expression dripping with sweetness. A spark of happiness lit her eyes. “It’s no burden,” she said with a smile. “I used to live here once, when I was very young. I had a sister, but she’s all the family I can remember. We came here to live but then she dragged us away. Then she left me. I can’t even remember what she looked like. It’s all so faint. More like the memories of memories. I spent my entire foal-hood looking for this place because it’s all the home I can remember.” Her eyes narrowed in annoyance. “If I ever meet my sister, provided she’s still alive, I will give her a piece of my mind and she’ll wish she wasn’t alive,” the angry mutter matched the scowl across her face. After a few unintelligible words with which she abused her sister, Neralyn looked back up at Thrien, the spark of joy returning. “But then I found it. Only it was known as Peophin Song then. Oh, how wonderful it was!” A dreamy sigh escaped her vocals, especially when she remembered how Eva, Bree, and she would comb the beaches for dashing stallions. At the thought of it, she couldn’t help laughing at herself and all the crazy things she had done. In a half-giggle, she looked at him and said, “I think you will like it here.”

"Daiveni"
Daiveni looked on to see three more new faces. A smile formed on her face; she loved meeting new people. All in all, this place wasn't so bad...it almost reminded her of home.
noel1326 3/25/07
"Lakitano"
Lakitano followed the new stallion’s gaze to yet even more newcomers, taking them in with optic greenness. He wasn’t much for strangers, even less so for an abundance of them and the three with which he now conversed satiated him fully. A slight vibration of unease swept through him. “Wow, sure are a lot of newcomers,” he remarked with a glance to each Aug, Daiveni, and Pathenon. “Wonder where they all came from…” And then, after a pause, added, “So, where are you three from?”
bbb026 3/25/07
"Pathenon"
Pathenon turned his gaze slowly to the stallion. "Daiveni and I came from a herd called Ombra. It's actually pretty far from here. I left the herd a while ago to do some exploring of this world. There are so many things I haven't seen that I want to. Plus the herd was practically broken up, but I guess now they're slowly comming back together, or so says Daiveni." He glanced quickly toward her, then turned back. "But for now, I shall stay here and keep doing what I planned."
questarlia 3/26/07
"Llavender"
A ghostly peophin approached the herd, she was a newcomer and still wasn't sute what was going on around her. She glanced at all the peophins, they seemed quite nice but she wasn't sure what was going to happen. She was nervous but tried not to show it, she breathed in deeply and hoped for the best.
noel1326 3/26/07
"Lakitano/important OOC"
(OoC: As a very important note, Neralyn’s name has been changed, again, yes I know. But since I planned her to be a Christmas peophin and my sister no longer wants her Christmas peophin Airemellonwen, I’m planning on taking her when my account is four months old. Neralyn is going to be my Faerie peophin instead. I’m still role playing Neralyn; only she is now Airemellonwen instead. I apologize profusely for any confusion. ^_^ You may slap me if you wish. )
Lakitano nodded as he took in Pathenon’s words. He understood what it was like to be restless and filled with a desire to just traverse the world, seeing and experiencing all that it had to offer. Often times he would take a leave from whatever herd he was in and just embark on a small escapade. “My friend and I used to venture. We wanted to see all kinds of things,” he said. “What about you?” he posed the question to Daiveni as well as Pathenon.
bbb026 3/26/07
"Daiveni"
"Well, I'm not that big of a traveler," Daiveni answered. "I like to stay with my herd and I rarely leave. But this is an exception...I came to find Pathenon and tell him that Ombra is comming back together. See, our leader's daughter, who happens to be my goddaughter, and his grandson were killed by enemies of his father, whom he ran away from because of his whole attitude towards running a herd (he was the leader of a massive one), and ever since then, the herd's been broken. But then Selea found herself pregnant and had yet another daughter, which has brought herd members flocking back, one by one. I hope to see the little foal soon. I've been chosen to be her godmother as well." Daiveni smiled sweetly at the thought of a new goddaughter. Then she tossed her head in Pathenon's direction. "But him, no. It's hard for him to stay in one spot long. He stayed at Ombra longer than any other place he's stayed at. But he always takes these little trips for a few weeks, or months. But he always comes back." She gave Pathenon a friendly smile, which he returned.
dismissive 3/27/07
"Thrien"
Thrien gazed at her as she spoke, listening intently. "It must be wonderful to find the herd again." He said, tilting his head slightly. A wry smile tugged at his lips as she muttered angrily, but he said nothing. "I hope.." He then replied softly, "If I am allowed to stay.." He glanced at her before lifting his gaze the look around the area again, a slight frown creasing his brow.

"Augania/Kishou"
Aug's large orange eyes quickly narrowed to a slit as Lakitano asked where he was from. He hadn't ever wanted to think about that place again.."Neopia Central." He grunted simply, unwilling to give any more information. His attention however, was diverted by the other newcomers, and the emerging of a large, black stallion, similar to his height but not comparing to Aug's large bulk, but yet still holding an aura of authority and even if Aug did feel like picking a fight with him, he wasn't sure he could win. It dawned on him: This must be "Kishou."
Kishou swum from the den, head alert. He had finally decided on a name for the foal. However, he was met by many unfamiliar sets of eyes, and he decided it may be better to put off his joy of becoming a father again when he could be certain his family was safe. "Greetings." He called. "I am Kishou, lead stallion of the Peophins of the Night. I see most of you have met one of my trusted friends, Lakitano.." His eyes travelled to the electric stallion, full of gratefulness that Lakitano had distracted all of them while he was busy in the den. "You all are welcome as long as you do not wish harm upon me or those in my family or herd. If you do, you may leave now and be untouched, but if you remain, I cannot even begin to imagine the horrible things I will do to you." His voice grew more stern through his sentence. He then hovered in place, treading water effortlessly, waiting for their responses.
noel1326 3/27/06
"Lakitano"
"I am sorry for your troubles," Lakitano answered gravely upon hearing Daiveni speak. He wondered how she could still maintain that certain aura of comfort, speaking of her past like this. Suddenly his attention was drawn to Kishou, and he paid as much attention to his words as the newcomers ought to have. At the mention of himself, he dipped his head forward in silent "you're welcome" to his leader.
noel1326 3/27/07
"Aire"
Airemellonwen opened her mouth to answer Thrien but only got to, "It is indeed a pleasure to be back!" before her eyes fixed on the black stallion who'd emerged from his den. "Kishou," she thought, drawing in a sharp breath as a memory of her sister saying to be wary of this Kishou sprang to her mind. But any fear she had was dispelled by his message to the newcomers, which she considered herself to be. Her sky blue gaze travelled to Thrien, a smile in them that matched the one on her face. "Well, I guess that pretty much sums it up. Doesn't it?" she teased.

"Daiveni/Pathenon"
"Oh, it's alright. It happened a long time ago..." Daiveni replied to Lakitano's apology. "Harm anyone? Goodness no! I couldn't even hurt a hermit crab let alone another Peophin." Daiveni answered Kishou's announcement. Being one of the most gentle creatures anyone would ever meet, it was hard for her to even think about violence...even to the Peophins that had killed her goddaughter and her goddaughter's son, the heir to the Ombra herd. "No, we wouldn't hurt anyone of this herd. We're just traveling. And it's nice to have finally met you," Pathenon said politely. Like Kishou, Pathenon was welcoming to anyone, but if they ever hurt anybody he cared about, they would never even think about touching another living creature for the rest of their lives.
noel1326 3/29/07
"Neralyn"
A slender form drifted lightly through the calm waters, graceful and fluent. Shimmering iridescent patches of gold, rose, and lavender slid over her body, capturing, reflecting, and commanding the light as equally as the light did so to them. A thick, medium length mane trailed behind her in a mingled mess with the Faerie wings protruding from her back. Their beautiful butterfly form matched the shape of her unusual tail. Her pair of crystal blue eyes wandered aimlessly, taking in the beauty of the sea while expressing a wonder and appreciation for everything she laid eyes on. One gaze would pour out all of her peace and gentleness. They seemed to always be smiling, even when her mouth was not. As she drifted, light shattered across her body so that she almost seemed to glow. And it was so when she finally lifted her gaze to behold the place into which she had wandered. Below her, just ahead, the dim figures of peophins met her eyes. Her features erupted in a pleasant smile of expectation and she propelled herself forward with rapidity. As she neared, her speed slowed to a cautious approach. A male voice was speaking; she could hear the deep tones reverberating off the rocks that littered the ocean floor. Ears swiveling alertly, she listened and, once near enough, could see the ebony peophin stallion, stained with silver, who was the speaker. Her gaze held him in an intense stare that conveyed the intent with which she soaked in his words. The Faerie magic that coursed within radiated from her almost invisible butterfly wings and her deep sky blue eyes as she listened. “This must be a herd,” she thought. Having lived in Faerieland all her days save the past few, herd life was foreign, exotic even, to one like her. Excitement and curiosity sparked inside of the Faerie mare. She shimmered and glowed all the more.
bbb026 3/29/07
"Pathenon"
After Pathenon finished his sentence, something glowing caught his eye. He turned to see a beautiful mare who was swimming toward the group. "Another new comer?" he thought to himself. "And a pretty one at that."

"Navruuti"
Mutant peophin propelled through the waters, half scowl plastered over maw. Her expression was listless. She had gone through much in her life and struggled to maintain positive. His weary orbs scanned for a place to rest among others. Lofting down to POTN, she graced the ocean bottom. Peering around she rose brow. This clan seemed incredibly faimilar. The scent was uncanny.
noel1326 4/03/07
"Neralyn"
Neralyn fixed a crystal blue gaze upon Pathenon when he turned in her direction. She smiled at him warmly, conveying her hopes of acceptance. Her gaze flickered back to the ebony stallion and she wondered whether or not she should introduce herself. Herd life was something she had only ever dreamed of. Back in Faerieland, though, she had dwelled in their comfortable stables, living a life of pampered luxury. Like a child, her innocent curiosity was aroused and she would not cease until it was satiated. Poised on the edge of indecision, she finally teetered to one side and slowly made her way towards the stallion who had adressed the new comers. She stared up at him with innocent blue eyes. An aura of excitment hung so thickly about her that her wings shimmered and no words would come from her mouth. How did one act towards a herd leader? What was respectful and what was not? What did one say? The answers to these questions evaded her so she did as she would have to any Faerie back home. Her head and body dipped forward in a deep bow and she stretched her wings out flat, echoing the solemn greeting firmly lodged in her memory. "Neralyn of Faerieland, my lord," her voice rang clear and light. "I intend no harm upon you, nor your herd."

"Kishou/Aug"
Kishou was slightly taken aback by Daiveni's response, and gave her a small smile, before being accosted by the faerie mare in front of him. His heart pounded at first, his mind swarming in all the anger he'd ever felt upon the faes. When he was about to shout at her, her words settled deep into his mind. My Lord, I will not harm is what marqueed through his brain. Flowlaki had been one of the faeries - she had turned to them as well.
"Very well then." He said shortly, returning her nod. The eerie feeling of having a fae so close to his newborn foal concerned him. He would once again put off the announcement of his joy.
Aug's eyes were immediately fixed upon the beautiful approaching mare, the uncertainty of her being appealing greatly to him. He watched her hungrily as she approached Kishou, sensing any nervousness she might emit. If he hadn't been underwater, he may have even drooled a bit. His eyes then fell upon Kishou again, and his attention of the mare was snapped immediately. The large black stallion was staring at him...it seemed even warning him not to cause trouble. For once, Aug decided to heed the silent advice. Perhaps this was somewhere he could call home.

"Cloud"
Home. Yes, this was home. Eyes that had once been full of life and passion now gazed dully across the vast ocean scape, and a sigh heaved her sides. Yes, this was Cloud's home, and it would always be. But it vertainly wasn't where he heart was, and she didn't think it ever would be.
Not without him...
She began to feel sorry for herself, but before she could fully sink into her shell, she shook her head in a violent manner. She shouldn't even be thinking about him. It had been years, and there was not hope of his return. She should be over him by now.
But in all reality, she wasn't. She just couldn't pull herself out of this rut. There was nothing left for her- nothing but a name and a rank. She was nothing, and she was worth nothing- not to herself, and not to anyone else.
She lingered there, on the edge of the border, staring out into the open sea. There wasn't anything left out there for her either, but she kept searching and looking, praying that something would show up; a sign from the heavens: anything!
Cloud knew her waiting was in vain, but like an innocent child she lingered, allowing her mind to wander and take her away to happier times.
bbb026 4/03/07
"Pathenon/Daiveni"
Upon seeing the Faerie mare smile at him, he quickly returned the favor. He looked away after the mare swam toward Kishou and his gaze fell on Aug, a look of disre, lust in his eyes...almost the same look he gave to Daiveni, but more intense. He nudged Daiveni to look in his direction. After seeing the way Aug looked toward the other mare, she decided that this Peophin was bad news, even though she tries to live by the saying "don't judge a book by it's cover"...
noel1326 4/04/06
"Lakitano/Neralyn"
An angry mutter escaped Lakitano’s vocals at the sight of the Faerie peophin. He felt a mixture of hate, distrust, and vengeance stir from deep inside him, where he kept the memories of his former herd. As Neralyn dipped her head in reverence to Kishou, a part of Lakitano almost hoped he might drive her forcibly away, rip those pretty little wings to shreds, robbing of her of everything she held dear, just as the Faeries had done to him so many years ago. Smothering the feeling, he gave Kishou a wary look, one that plainly said he would tolerate the Fae, as he trusted Kishou’s judgment, but in no way would he trust nor go out of his way to make her feel welcome.
A small smile flitted around the corners of Neralyn’s mouth as she dipped her head in reverence once again. Cascades of shimmering mane fell softly around her delicate face and a crystal light sparked in her eyes. Her wings fluttered in a miniature shower of coruscations, sending gentle ripples of light along their sheer surface. “Thank you, my lord,” she breathed. A sensation of redemption, arcane and enigmatic, swept over her but it vanished as rapidly as it had come. Highlights of gold and rose captured the sunlight and scattered it in all directions as she turned to venture further into the herd. The eyes of crystal gazed with unhidden wonder at her surroundings. She felt a surge of the ambience straight to her chest. Sighing with pleasure, she glanced once at the mingled group of Pathenon, Daiveni, Lakitano and Aug before gliding in their direction. “Greetings,” head bowed, she offered her humble salutation to them as well. “I am Neralyn.”
noel1326 3/04/07
"Airemellowen"
Airemellonwen opened her mouth to answer Thrien but only got to, "It is indeed a pleasure to be back!" before her eyes fixed on the black stallion who'd emerged from his den. "Kishou," she thought, drawing in a sharp breath as a memory of her sister saying to be wary of this Kishou sprang to her mind. But any fear she had was dispelled by his message to the newcomers, which she considered herself to be. Her sky blue gaze traveled to Thrien, a smile in them that matched the one on her face. "Well, I guess that pretty much sums it up. Doesn't it?" she teased.
new_year_baby66 4/04/07
"Cloud"
Rays of light danced about her idle figure, illuminating her in a surreal sort of light. She didn't stir; just floated there, gazing into the distance. When it became apparent that he wasn't going to show up, she sighed and, slowly, turned her head to face towards the heart of the herdlands. The rest of her body followed, and after one final reluctant backward glance, she moved on. There was always hope; she tried to tell herself this, but it was so hard to believe. How could any hope exist in dark days like these? Her ears twitched curiously as she contiued her journey back to her den. Nowadays, it wasn't so characteristic of her to grow curious, but for some reason, she stopped to listen this time. Unfamilar voices rose to mingle with those that she'd known for some time, and she was drawn to this. She needed company now, and even though it would not bring back her son, Cloud knew that being in the company of others would help to alleviate some of the pain. Her approach was cautious; she was hoping that Kishou or Lakitano would spot her first, for the rest of them were strangers to her. She lingered several yards away, waiting quietly and patiently to be noticed.
bbb026 4/04/07
"Pathenon/Daiveni"
Pathenon noticed the hatred in Lakitano's eyes when he looked at the Faerie mare. He wonder if he already knew the mare and disapproved of her? Or did he just not like Fearies? That would've been bad news for Daiveni, if hating Faeries was the case; she herself was a Faerie/Starry hybrid. She had lived in the ocean her entire life and never once set foot in Faerieland, so she knew nothing about how Faerie Peophins were expected to act. Seeing Lakitano's expression, he would be ready to defend and protect Daiveni if needed. Pathenon opened his mouth to ask Lakitano what was going on, but decided against it. Maybe he would see the answer for himself, noticing the mare headed their way. Pathenon politely returned her bow and introduced himself. "My name's Pathenon." He said in a strong voice. Daiveni smiled and also bowed. "I'm Daiveni. Nice to meet you," she said happily. Pathenon glanced in Lakitano's direction and anticipated his reaction toward Neralyn.
noel1326 4/04/07
"Lakitano"
Green optics narrowed in threatening slits, Lakitano watched in disdain as the Fae started swimming in his direction, of all things. His maw contorted into an ugly sneer that silently hinted his dislike. With a shake of his head, he quickly fled, slicing throught the cold waters, one thought in his head persistently screaming, "Stay away." Even though he told himself he was being hateful, irrational even, he could not rid himself of the dreadful feeling. Suddenly his eyes captured the familiar figure of Cloud and he smiled slightly. Of all the faces, here at last was one that he recognized from herds back. He swam to her in a warm greeting, anything to keep his mind off the Faerie mare. "Cloud," he spoke with a welcome ringing in his voice, "You have returned! So good to see another familiar face amongst all of these." His eyes traveled back over his shoulder to the Fae once again and he added in a mutter, "Especially amongst these." He didn't know if Cloud herself held a loathing for Faeries but he tacked the last sentence on anyway. He could not help doing so.
dismissive 4/04/07
"Thrien"
Thrien smiled and before he could reply, his attention was drawn to the other stallion. He stared for a moment, before she spoke again. He moved his gaze back to hers. "Well, I guess it does." He spoke softly, and then smiled again.
new_year_baby66 4/04/07
"Cloud"
The second Lakitano's eyes found her, Cloud glided smoothly over towards him, standing beside him. With all these strangers around, it made her feel safer. "I'm quite relieved to see you, Lakitano. It's been too long." Her gaze then adverted to the unfamiliar faces. The sight of a faerie peophin made her stomach reel, and the taste of bitter vile filled her mouth. She gazed skeptically at the graceful female, and though she knew her origins could not be helped, she still felt a drop of malevolence towards her. She regarded her warily, and then diverted her attention to Pathenon and Daiveni, acknowledging both with a brief bob of her head. Her voice rose, like the crescendo of waves as they rush into the shore and then break the sand. "Greetings." No introduction was made; that would come later, if the occasion ever arose. For now, she turned her attention to the two creatures she did know: Kishou and Lakitano. She allowed a faint smile to toy with her features; it was difficult for her to do, but she somehow had enough positive emotions in her to pull it off. "Have I missed much?" Her words were laced with sarcasm, but it was merely a jest- it was quite obvious that she needed to be updated on quite a bit. The fact that PotN was actually thriving once more was proof enough that she'd missed something.
mysticalhorsesguild 4/05/07
"Kishou/Eva/Aug"
Kishou's ears swivelled to the familiar voice of a mare. His head followed, and soon his eyes rested excitedly upon his old friend. "Cloud!" He glided to her side, taking the same joy as Lakitano had for seeing her once again. At one point he had feared the worst for her, her brother and he himself barely being able to hold on to her last thread of life. "Welcome home. I..I have a surprise, but now is not the time. You will know soon enough.." His gaze drifted back to Neralyn, the faerie mare, and he paused upon the starry-faerie mare for a long second. However - she hadn't the air about her as one who had lived in that dreadful place..Faerieland.
Eva broke out of the den, also hearing the familiar voice of Cloud. She had never known her well, but it was exciting enough to see a familiar face. However, she never made it to Cloud. Instead, she stopped right before..."AIRE!!" She exclaimed, speeding to her old friend and her new companion.
Aug remained silent as the faerie mare swum towards them. Normally, he would have made a smooth remark, but the stallion's look - it wasn't of anything he had seen before. "Hello." He managed to say politely. The tinge of lust had been replaced by a familiar emotion - fear. He would not upset this "Kishou" if he could help it.
